To sit and have a cup of tea is one of the most relaxing things you can do. It is not the actual drinking of the tea, but the ritual of the boiling water, preparing the tea and patiently waiting and anticipating some quiet time. It is an opportunity to think about whom and what is important. It invites us to seek beauty in friends, nature and change. It is a gesture of hospitality that is universal. It slows you down from your hectic pace and gives you a chance to take a deep breath and relax. | Group Events Information - Showers / Luncheons / Parties - Event Times and Sizes Normal Salon Hours: / Mon to Fri 11am- 4pm; Sat 11am - 2pm / Groups up to 26 guests can be accommodated. Note: Special menu requests; specific food items not currently on our menu; will require a deposit of half of the projected event cost at the time the reservation is made. After Hours Events: Events after normal hours or for a Sunday may be arranged. Note: A deposit of $350 (applied toward food cost only - Tax and Tip extra ) and a rental fee of $75.00 is required to reserve an event after hours. Menu Selections: Choose from the Tea Fare or Sample Menus included on the Showers & Events Page. Note: Prices do not include tax & tip Budget: If you are working from a specific budget or amount per person, Rosemarie will be happy to work with you to accommodate all your needs. We can not allow guests to bring in outside food (i.e. desserts, cakes, etc.) Event duration is limited to 2 hours - extended events will be charged a rental fee of $100 per hour. _________________________________________________________________________________ Groups of 10 or more: will require a deposit of $150 (applied to the food costs) to confirm a reservation date. Cancellation of the event after one week prior to the event will forfeit the deposit. ________________________ Given that our tables are antiques they can not be moved together. Groups requiring more than one table will be seated in the same area at adjacent tables ________________________ A 20% gratuity will be added for groups of 6 or more guests Prices and Details subject to change at any time |
